The video seems to be taken during a pre-match practice session of Bangladesh's local tournament, where Shakib is currently participating.

In the video, a fan comes close to Shakib and asks him for a selfie. However, this evokes an unnatural, angry reaction from the former Bangladesh captain, who dismisses him by threatening to beat him up. 

Shakib's furious reaction has earned serious outrage from the public and the media, who have slammed him for his unruly behaviour. 

Regarding Shakib, the southpaw had a forgettable World Cup campaign, where he failed to power Bangladesh to the knockouts. While his team is playing a T20I series against Zimbabwe, the 37-year-old is currently participating in a domestic tournament.
