Guyana Amazon Warriors are in deep trouble in the ongoing 2nd game of CPL 2024. Chasing a target of 169 runs, the Imrah Tahir-led side have already lost four wickets for 80 runs after 12 overs.

The openers failed to provide a good start, as Rahmanullah Gurabaz looked in great touch and smashed two maximums but failed to convert that start.

Imad Wasim has been the go-to man for Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, as he has taken two crucial wickets of Gurbaz and Shimron Hetmyer to leave the Warriors crippled.

Meanwhile, Azam Khan failed to resurrect the innings, as the keeper-batter got out in the most bizarre manner.

On the 3rd ball of the 12th over, Azam Khan stepped out of the crease and tried to pull Shamar Springer's short-pitched delivery. The right-hand batter misjudged the speed of the delivery and was hit on his neck leaving him in immense pain.

Unfortunately for the right-hand batter, the ball went on to hit the stumps after Azam tried to stop the ball with his bat.

Azam was down with immense pain as the players from the opposition too were concerned for the Pakistani star batter. The physio was called on the ground and it looked like Khan had trouble catching his breath.

Eventually, he got up on his feet and made his way out of the ground in immense pain.

Eventually, Azam returned to the pavilion with a run-a-ball 9, which featured a solitary four.

Despite not having a day with the bat, Azam shone with the gloves as he produced a stunning diving effort on the last ball of the first innings to run his countryman Imad Wasim out.
