Cricket is full of surprises, and no wonder raw emotions have been running through the veins ever since Afghanistan entered the T20 World Cup 2024 semi-finals with a historic win over Bangladesh on Tuesday.
The Rashid Khan-led side, who stunned Australia a couple of days ago, were on the verge of defeat against the Tigers until Rashid himself and Naveen-ul-Haq stepped up like champions to turn this around in a cinematic manner.

As Afghanistan players were seen celebrating on the field, their head coach, Jonathan Trott, who put on an incredible performance to take the team to this place, was equally applauded by their staff and fans. Even players did what he did for the country, and hence, they hoisted him on their shoulders to give him a lap of honour.
Of course, Rashid received the similar treatment, as ICC did not miss out on posting it on social media.
