Hardik Pandya made an important 17-ball 27 on Monday when India took on Australia in a crucial T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 match at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium.

During his impressive knock, the way he smashed Stoinis on the first ball of the 19th over made a lot of headlines. In fact, Suryakumar Yadav, who plays alongside Hardik for Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL, could not stop himself from praising it.

It was a pitched-up delivery by Stoinis, and Hardik brought out his bottom-hand power before making a 360-degree turn. It was so audacious that even Suryakumar Yadav, India’s very own 360 degree cricketer, was in absolute awe to see the way it went over deep extra cover for six runs.

At the time of writing this, Australia are 6/1 after 1.1 overs, with David Warner returning to the hut. They need 200 more runs for the victory, while a defeat could eliminate them from the competition.
