Here's How Twitter Reacted After Afghanistan's Historic Win!

Earlier in the match, Rashid Khan won the toss and opted to bat first. Afghanistan's batting effort in the match saw them struggle initially opening pair Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran managed a partnership of 59 runs, but failed to accelerate the score.

Gurbaz, known for his aggressive batting, scored 43 runs but at a relatively slow strike rate of 78.18. The middle-order, comprising Azmatullah Omarzai, Gulbadin Naib, and Karim Janat, failed to capitalize on the start provided by the openers.

It was captain Rashid Khan who injected some late momentum with an unbeaten 19 off just 10 balls, including three crucial sixes in the final over off Tanzim Hasan Sakib.
