Cricket is not just a game of skill and temperament; a new 'must-have' element is the ability to be a convincing actor and better than Gulbadin Naib to agree with this, especially after Afghanistan's thrilling 8-run win over Bangladesh. With this win, they have booked the final birth to the semi-final of T20 World Cup 2024 for the first-time ever in history.

But do you remember that before Naib, it was Mohammad Rizwan's hilarious 'cramp' incident that made headlines during his match-winning 131 runs off 121 knock against Sri Lanka back in World Cup 2023.

During the post-match interview, Rizwan highlighted the team's collective confidence and the pivotal partnership with Abdullah Shafique, that led to the team's victory. While recalling his innings, Rizwan also humorously noted the occasional bouts of cramps amidst his play and said:

"Always a proud moment for me whenever you perform for your country. I am speechless at this moment. It was difficult. The thing was that after the bowling innings we went back and everyone was confident.

Unluckily, they got Babar Azam early but we got good partnerships after that. It's a good track, was supporting to us. I told Shafique to take it step by step. Sometimes cramps and sometimes acting (chuckles)."

Fans were reminded of this very incident  during AFG vs BAN clash as when it started to drizzle at St.Vincent, Afghanistan's head coach Jonathan Trott asked his players to slow down the game, with Bangladesh short of the DLS par score by two runs.

Naib fell down on the ground, complaining of a hamstring pull, Afghanistan's team physio entered the scene, helping the veteran cricketer walk off the field alongside Naveen-ul-Haq.
