Rohit Sharma's animated character often becomes the centre of attention. It happened yet again on Monday when India met Australia at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in an all-important T20 World Cup 2024 clash.

The unwanted incident took place during the second over of Australia's innings when their skipper Mitchell Marsh was on the strike against Jasprit Bumrah. Marsh went for a pull, only to fail miserable, as he could only get a huge top edge.

Pant, running from the keeper's area, went to catch it, but he tumbled in the process, leaving him well short of the area where the ball landed. Rohit, who played an outrageous knock earlier, was not impressed at all, as he was seen frustrated while hurling abuse. Pant, on the other hand, did not react to it, as he had nothing to do when the tumble happened.

At the time of writing this, India are 65/1 after six overs, with Travis Head going strong, batting on 31*. Marsh, too, is batting well, as Australia require 141 runs off 84 balls for the win.
