Afghanistan opener, Rahmanullah Gurbaz added his name to the unwanted list of playing with the lowest strike rates in the T20 World Cups with a minimum of 50 balls faced in an innings as Afghanistan faced Bangladesh in their final game of the Super Eight in Kingstown on June 24.

Batting first on the back of a historic win over Australia where Gurbaz scored 60(48), the 22-year-old found it difficult to find his rhythm against Bangladesh as he scored 43(55) at a strike rate of 78.18 albeit scoring 3 fours and a six.

This knock of 43 from the Afghan wicketkeeper became the second-slowest innings in T20 World Cups where the batter has played a minimum of 50 balls.
