Siraj Sledges Pooran Out Of Frustration; LSG Star Shuts India Pacer With Belt Treatment

In the ongoing IPL 2025 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium, things got heated between Mohammed Siraj and Nicholas Pooran as the GT star opted to sledge the LSG star batter. Notably, LSG, batting first, put 235 runs on the board and went all guns blazing from the first ball. 

Nicholas Pooran too hogged the internet as he smashed an unbeaten 56 (27), which featured four fours and five sixes. Nicholas took on all the bowlers, including Mohammed Siraj, and it did not go well with the former RCB star bowler.

In the 15th over of the match, Pooran hit Siraj for a four and immediately, Siraj went to Pooran and sledged him after bowling a dot ball. A few words were exchanged as the two players came close. However, it was a bad decision from Siraj to sledge Pooran as the West Indies star batter hit back strongly and slammed Siraj for a six and four on the subsequent deliveries.

Siraj Has A Day To Forget vs LSG

Siraj, who has had a brilliant season so far, had a night to forget against Lucknow Super Giants as he registered a spell of 37/0 in his four overs. Further, it is worth noting that Siraj is wicketless in his last two matches and has just three wickets in his last five matches, which is a concerning sign for Gujarat Titans despite them having a great season and sitting on top of the table. Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, Gujarat Titans are 75/1 after 6.3 overs and still require 160 to win off 80 balls.
