In the ongoing IPL 2025 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans, Mitchell Marsh scripted history as he slammed his maiden century in the cash-studded league. Notably, Marsh, who opened the innings for LSG, brought up his hundred in 56 balls as his knock featured ten fours and eight sixes. Also, Marsh smashed the third fastest century by a LSG player.

Further, Mitchell Marsh has also become the first overseas player in this season to smash a century. Also, Marsh is the 2nd right-handed player to bring up a ton in this season. 

Mitchell Marsh Scripts Special Feat With His Century

Notably, Marsh, who is the first overseas player to hit a century in IPL 2025, also equalled KL Rahul's record for six-fifty plus scores in a season for LSG as both have hit 6 half-centuries. It is also worth noting that Marsh has scripted a special feat as he and Shaun Marsh have become the first pair of brothers to hit a century in the history of the league.

Shaun Marsh, the elder brother of Mitchell Marsh, took IPL 2008 by storm when he won the orange cap and also smashed a century. Talking about the ongoing match, Marsh eventually returned to the pavilion for a score of 117 (64). Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants, after the end of the first innings, put 234 runs on the board.
