The much awaited match between Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants is underway at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The hosts won the toss and opted to field first. It was not a great start for GT bowler Arshad Khan as he had trouble with his footing and fell twice during his run-up.
Notably, Arshad Khan, who came to bowl the 2nd over of the match, had a bad fall on the first ball of his over as his back-foot skid over the grass and he fell on the ground. It was a scary visual as Arshad was in immense pain and all the players rushed to attend the left-arm seamer.
Arshad Khan Suffers Nasty Fall
After a short break, Arshad returned to bowl and on the 4th ball of the same over, he fell again in the similar manner and injured himself, which forced the physios to come to the crease and attend Arshad Khan, who was in pain. Nonetheless, Arshad did not injure himself seriously and completed the over.

Despite losing his balance twice in a single over, Arshad completed the over and gave away 13 runs in his first over. However, after the over, he quickly went out of the field and fresh visuals showed that the physios were applying magical spray to Arshad's knee, indicating that the left-arm seamer did some damage to his knee.
Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, four overs have been bowled and Arshad hasn't returned for his 2nd over of the match. Meanwhile, the Rishabh Pant-led side are 33/0 after 4.2 overs.
