The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had an afternoon to remember Vs Gujarat Titans as the MS Dhoni led side hammered the opposite bowlers to all corners of the ground and smashed their fourth highest team total in the history of the league. Courtesy of some brilliant assault, the CSK side posted a commanding 230/5 on the board.
The assault was started by Ayush Mhatre, who slammed a quick-fire 34 off 17 and it was followed by some brilliant batting by Urvil Patel (17 off 8) and Dewald Brevis (57 off 23) as the team took apart the GT bowlers and had a record-breaking afternoon to remember.
Overall, CSK's highest score in IPL history is 246/5, a feat they achieved against Rajasthan Royals in 2010.

How CSK batters tore apart the GT bowlers
This was CSK's last match of the IPL 2025 season since they have already been crashed out of the IPL. Their batters surely bowed out on a high as the likes of Ayush Mhatre, Urvil Patel and Dewald Brevis, showed their class. Interestingly, the three stars came in as replacement players and all three did a terrific job as the Super Kings aim to end the season with a win.
