Ramandeep Singh is one of the rare seam-bowling all-rounders in Indian cricket and has even played two T20Is for India. He is known for his power-hitting, and now in the Buchi Babu tournament, the batter has smashed a counter-attacking century of 111 off 101 balls for Punjab.

Ramandeep Singh's Fireworks Bring Punjab In Control

The knock came on day 2 of the game between Punjab and Hyderabad. Punjab were asked to bat on the opening day in tough batting conditions and could score 187 after the loss of four wickets in the rain-affected day. Punjab need their lower middle order batter to bat deep, and Ramandeep Singh did exactly that.

The right-handed batter played in his attacking mode and did not let the pressure build on Punjab. He scored runs whenever the opportunity arrived and, as a result, took his side to a strong total. Ramandeep Singh is primarily known for his skills in the limited-overs format, and now this hundred in a multi-day format would help him get more confidence.

Opportunity For Ramandeep Singh To Showcase His All-Round Skills

Ramandeep Singh would now be hoping that he delivers with the ball as well. Thus, this game is a good opportunity for Ramandeep to gain limelight as an all-rounder.

In IPL 2025, Ramandeep Singh could not make an impact with both bat and ball. In most of the games, he batted very low in the batting order, while he was not used as a bowler in the entire tournament. Thus, KKR management was criticised for not using Ramandeep Singh's full potential.

Thus, the upcoming domestic season is an opportunity for Ramandeep Singh to showcase his talent and even show his IPL team what he is capable of.
