Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta attended her team’s penultimate league match of the IPL 2025 season against Delhi Capitals in Jaipur. When Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer brought up his fifty from 33 balls with a boundary at the end of the 17th over, the Bollywood actress was spotted cheering and applauding the landmark moment for the charismatic Indian batter.

Batting at number four, Shreyas Iyer arrived to the crease following the dismissal of Josh Inglis at 55-2 inside the powerplay. The Punjab Kings skipper went on to compile 41 runs with Nehal Wadhera, and a quick 28 with power-hitter Marcus Stoinis to set up his team’s huge first innings total.

Belting five fours and two huge sixes in the evening, Shreyas Iyer recorded the lone fifty-plus score of the Punjab Kings innings. With his latest batting masterclass, the cricketer also extended his IPL 2025 tally to 484 runs from 13 innings, doing so at a prolific batting average of 53.77 and with a masterful strike rate of 172.24.
