Mohammed Siraj Today Match Wicket; Here Are All Siraj Wickets In 2nd Test vs SA

Mohammed Siraj is a rhythmic bowler and when he is in his groove, it is pretty hard to stop him. He dismantled Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup final few months back and now had demolished South Africa in the first innings of the second Test match of Cape Town with his six-wicket haul. His heroic effort has helped India bundled out South Africa for just 55.

It was a dream spell on a wicket that had help for the seamers but was not unplayable by any stretch of imagination. Siraj's bowling though made it look unplayable and no South African batters had any idea about how to face the fire of Siraj in the morning spell.

It all started with the wicket of Aiden Markram who nicked a beautiful outswinger to Yashasvi Jaiswal at third slip. The second one was the big one of Dean Elgar who dragged a wide delivery onto the stumps.

The third wicket was of Tony de Zorzi who was bit unlucky as he ended up clipping a delivery on his pads to KL Rahul behind the stumps. The fourth wicket was off a beautiful delivery, it was in that channel around off and bounced sharply to catch the edge of Bedingham's blade and handed an easy catch to Yashasvi Jaiswal at third slip again.

The fifth wicket that gave him his third wicket haul was of Marco Jansen who nicked a good-length delivery to KL Rahul. The final Siraj wicket was of Kyle Verreynne, who handed a catch to the second slip fielder while rest of the wicket were taken by Bumrah and Mukesh Kumar to cap off a perfect day for India.

Mohammed Siraj's earlier two five-wicket hauls have come against Australia and West Indies, but this one was surely his best spell in Test cricket.
