More often than not, Virat Kohli has always been seen being pumped up on the field, and his electrifying energy has always been the talk of the town in the cricketing world. Similarly, a gesture he made during Day 1 of the second Test between India and South Africa, taking place at Newlands, Cape Town, made headlines.

Indian bowlers, led by Mohammed Siraj, were all over South Africa in the first session of the day. The Dean Elgar-led side were reduced to 29/4, and soon after, they were 29/5 after Siraj pinned David Bedingham's LBW during the 14th over of South Africa’s innings. The ball seemed to be going down the leg side to the naked eye, but Kohli, to keep the youngster under pressure, kept on raising his finger.

Even though Bedingham did take DRS, and the decision was overturned, Kohli’s gesture to keep attacking the opposition reminded everyone of how aggressive an individual he had been when he was young and wild.

Meanwhile, Siraj took David Bedingham’s wicket an over later, and South Africa, as of writing, are in tatters, having slipped to 41/6 in 17.1 overs, with Siraj returning excellent figures of 5/11 in 8.1 overs.
