Mohammed Siraj picked a five-wicket haul against SA (X.com)
Mohammed Siraj was not at his best in the first Test against South Africa and India needed him to step up in the 2nd Test at Cape Town. He has don exactly that and has ran through South African batting line-up in the first session with a stunning five-wicket haul.
He produced the first breakthrough for India in the fourth over with a wicket of Aiden Markram and was unstoppable since then. Elgar, the centurion of the last game was cleaned up soon while Tony de Zorzi could also not last long.

It seemed that the destruction is over but Rohit gave him a prolonged opening spell and Siraj continued his fireworks as he produced a double-wicket maiden soon, sending Bendingham and Marco Jansen back to the hut in the same over.
South Africa were reduced to 34-6 with Bumrah taking one wicket too and India and Siraj have surely started the new year with a bang. They were completely outclassed in the first Test and this early lift will give them a lot of confidence as they aim to level the series in tough South African conditions.
