After dominating in the ODI format, West Indies hoped to continue their same momentum in the shortest format, but England had other plans. The visitors made an impressive comeback, handing West Indies their first defeat in the T20I series and taking a 1-0 lead.

Salt (103* off 54) played a brutal innings, smashing his third T20I century, while Bethell (58* off 36) provided excellent support. The pair chased down 183 with ease, sealing the victory in style.
