Pakistan's star bowler Haris Rauf has been in excellent form, and he continues to dominate Australia's batting line-up in the ongoing series. In the third ODI at Optus Stadium, Rauf kept up his strong performance, taking his 10th wicket of the three-match series. His fiery bowling once again got the better of Australia’s big hitter, Glenn Maxwell, sending him back to the pavilion for a duck.

The wicket came in the 18th over of Australia's innings when Rauf bowled a fast delivery, hitting the pitch hard at 142 kph. The ball was a short length, aiming at the off stump, and Maxwell tried to play it on the on side. However, he misjudged the ball, getting an edge that flew straight into the hands of Saim Ayub at backward point. Maxwell, who has been struggling with his form lately, was dismissed cheaply once again.

Pakistan Send Australia Half Down

Earlier in the match, Australia were put to bat first after Pakistan won the toss, which worked out well for Visitors. Naseem Shah started off nicely and claimed some important wickets, dismissing Jake Fraser-McGurk (7) and Josh Inglis cheaply. Shaheen Afridi also made an immediate impact with the new ball, getting rid of Aaron Hardie for just 12 runs. Haris Rauf was the standout bowler, removing Matthew Short. Thanks to this brilliant bowling performance, Pakistan managed to put Australia’s middle order under pressure, leaving them struggling.

At the time of writing, Australia are at 94 for 6 after 22 overs, with Sean Abbott and Adam Zampa still at the crease.
