Riding on Shaheen Afridi's exceptional bowling spell, Pakistan bowled Australia out for 140 runs, their lowest-ever score in an ODI game at Perth Stadium. Shaheen, who got the prized breakthrough of Aaron Hardie, scalped two more wickets, dismantling the hosts with his razor-sharp bowling. Homeboy Lance Morris was his final victim, as the left-arm seamer castled him with an absolute peach.

The incident occurred during the 32nd over of Australia's innings when Pakistan were searching for someone to hit the final nail in the coffin. Experienced pacer Shaheen Afridi did the job for the visitors, dismissing Lance Morris with a lethal delivery.

After starting his over with two consecutive dot balls, Shaheen got rid of Sean Abbott, courtesy of a brilliant grab from Haris Rauf at mid-on. Two balls later, the in-form pacer proved himself too hot to handle for Morris, outfoxing him with his pace and accuracy.

From around the wicket, Shaheen Afridi bowled a full-length delivery that straightened after pitching around the middle stump line. As Lance Morris attempted to play a defensive shot, the ball beat him on his outside edge, shattering his stumps in the process.

Australia Record Their Lowest ODI Total In Perth

Thus, the mighty Aussies were bundled out for a meagre 140-run total in the must-win affair. Although they lost nine wickets, Cooper Connolly was retired hurt and didn't come out to bat. This is Australia's fourth lowest ODI score against Pakistan and their worst-ever team total at this venue.

Shaheen and Naseem starred with the ball for the visitors, scalping three wickets each. Meanwhile, Haris Rauf sustained his dream run, getting the valuable wickets of Matthew Short and Glenn Maxwell. Thus, Pakistan need only 141 runs to script a historic ODI series win on Australian soil.
