Josh Inglis ' return to Australia's line-up for the third and final T20I has ended on a tragic note. The batter bagged a golden duck as Corbin Bosch cleaned him up with a beauty.

Josh Inglis Bags 3rd Duck In Home T20Is

It is the third time Josh Inglis has been dismissed for a duck in a home T20I. His first T20I duck on Australian soil came against Pakistan in 2024, while the second one was in the first match of this series.

Thus, he has bagged ducks in both the games of the series he played in the series and in the process, has gone past the likes of Tim David, Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa and Ben McDermott, who all have two ducks for Australia in home T20Is.

Tim David And Maxwell Also Feature In The Unwanted List

Talking about Tim David, he got his two T20I ducks in Australia back in 2022. The first one was against West Indies while the second one was against England. Both these ducks came in a matter of four days, and since then, the batter has matured a lot. He smashed two fifties in the initial two matches of the series against South Africa and is in red-hot form.

Maxwell, on the other hand, took Australia over the line with an unbeaten fifty in the decider of the series. He also has two ducks in his home T20Is in his long journey. Thus, only Aaron Finch has more ducks in home T20Is than Josh Inglis, and there are chances that he could go past the former Aussie captain in future.

Most Ducks for Australia in Australia in T20Is:

  • 4 - Aaron Finch
  • 3 - Josh Inglis*
  • 2 - Tim David, Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa, Ben McDermott

Overall, all the players in the list are match-winners. Also, ducks in T20Is are not a big issue, as each of them has the ability to win games for their side single-handedly.
