A Pakistani fan, visibly passionate, approached Haris Rauf during Pakistan’s Super Four clash against Bangladesh in Dubai and pleaded, “India ko chhodna nahi,” asking him not to let India win the final.

Pakistan won the Super Four clash against Bangladesh to confirm the Asia Cup 2025 final against India. Notably, in the previous 2 encounters in this tournament, the men in green are trailing 0-2.

Fans beg Haris Rauf to perform against India

A Pakistan fan’s emotional plea of "India ko chhodna nahi" to pacer Haris Rauf ahead of the Asia Cup 2025 final against India has gone viral on social media, capturing the attention of cricket fans worldwide.

The fan pleaded with Rauf to perform and beat India to take revenge for the previous 2 defeats. The request left Rauf smiling, and he acknowledged the fan with a nod and even blew a flying kiss toward the crowd.

Haris Rauf is already in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. He made provocative gestures during the Super Four clash against India held on September 21.

As a result, BCCI lodged a complaint against Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan, on which ICC has scheduled a hearing. In response PCB also filed a complaint against Suryakumar Yadav.

Suryakumar Yadav may escape ICC sanctions

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav attended an ICC hearing over his comments following the Asia Cup 2025 group-stage win against Pakistan.

After the match on September 14, Suryakumar dedicated India’s victory to the armed forces and the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack. His remarks, seen as political by some, led to an official ICC complaint lodged by PCB.

Accompanied by BCCI officials Hemang Amin and Summer Mallapurkar, he faced the hearing presided over by Richie Richardson. As it falls under Level 1, Suryakumar may receive a warning or a fine of 15% of his match fees for making comments considered inappropriate in a sporting context.
