India have roared back in the Melbourne Test match and have done it in some style. The team looked down and out, but two young guns brought India back in the contest. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar produced miraculous innings before rain god arrived to ruin the fun.

At one stage, India had lost 6 wickets for 191 runs and were long away from the Australian total. However, Washington Sundar (50) and Nitish Reddy (105) forged a match-winning partnership as for the first time in the match, India pushed the Aussies on the back-foot.

The star of the day was Nitish Reddy, who has been superb throughout the series and he slammed his maiden Test ton to bring joy in the Indian dressing room. However, towards the end of the day, rain arrived and stumps were taken early as India finished on 358/9.

Now, ahead of the decisive 4th day, let us look at the session timings as the play will start half an hour early.

The play on the 4th day will start half an hour early due to the rain factor. Instead of 5 AM, the play will commence at 4:30 AM IST.

What Are The Session Times For Day 4 of IND vs AUS Boxing Day Test?

The first session because of the rain will begin half an hour early, i.e at 4:30 AM IST. The first session will be for 2.5 hours and the lunch break will be taken at 7 AM IST. It will be a 40-minute break, and the second session will resume at 7:40. From 7:40-9:40 AM, the second session will be played before the tea break is taken.

Tea break will go on till 10 AM, before the final session commences from 10 till 12:30 PM IST, if the weather permits.
