IND vs AUS 2nd ODI | Rain Stops Play, Here's Indore Weather Forecast For Today

In an unfortunate turn of events, the second ODI between India and Australia has been interrupted due to rain. After being invited to bat, India got off to a flier, courtesy of a flamboyant second-wicket partnership between Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer. However, when the game seemed completely in India's control, rain played spoilsport, interrupting the high-voltage face-off.

In the absence of regular skipper Pat Cummins, stand-in captain Steven Smith won the toss and elected to bowl first in Indore. His decision proved to be a masterstroke initially, as Josh Hazlewood dismissed Ruturaj Gaikwad in the fourth over.

However, the dynamic duo of Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill clobbered the Australians to all parts of the ground to steady the Indian ship.

However, rain arrived during the 10th over, forcing the umpires to pause the game and call for covers.

Indore weather forecast for today

Although the covers are coming off, the Holkar Stadium in Indore might witness some showers until 6 PM IST, as evident from the precipitation chances reading around 90 per cent at the moment. However, the weather is expected to be clear and ideal for cricket later in the evening.
