India A skipper, Shubman Gill suffered an injury scare in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024 match against India B at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The incident occurred during the 36th over of the innings, when India B keeper, Rishabh Pant miscued a slog and Gill took a blinder to dismiss his India teammate. However, he gave a mini injury scare to his teammates, as he clutched his shoulder and looked in some discomfort.

Thankfully, the India A skipper looked fine after a few minutes and was back to usual self as his team dominated the opposition with ease. It was a scary moment for Gill and the Indian team management, as the team is set to face Bangladesh in a two-match Test series, starting from September 19.

Talking about Pant's wicket, Akash Deep, the RCB pacer bowled a length delivery and Pant miscued his shot as the ball flew over Gill at mid-off. The India A skipper charged back and puts in a brilliant dive to end Pant's innings.

Only Yashasvi Jaiswal looked comfortable at the top, but once he was dismissed for 30, the wickets fell like a pack of cards. However, it was Musheer Khan, the younger brother of Sarfaraz, who stood tall and fought bravely.

He played with grit and determination and on a bowlers deck, the talented batter has scored a brilliant fifty and is still batting at 78.
