Jos Buttler drove Manchester Originals to a comprehensive seven-wicket win over Northern Superchargers in match number 30 of The Hundred Men 2025 season. Chasing 140 runs for a win at Headingley in Leeds, the former English captain blasted 70 runs off just 37 balls with seven boundaries and five huge sixes.

Rachin Ravindra at number three also chipped in with a handy 47* as the Originals mowed down their 140-run target with 16 balls to spare, thus recording their third win of the tournament to climb to number six on the eight-team points table.

Jos Buttler Engineers Domineering Win For Manchester

Jos Buttler clattered 70 runs from 37 balls against Northern Superchargers bowlers in match 30 of The Hundred Men 2025 season. The former English captain took a special liking to Samit Patel, smearing the senior spinner for a six and two boundaries in the space of just four deliveries at one stage of the innings.

Batting at number three, Jos Buttler arrived to the crease in just 31 balls at 31-2 after the fall of both Manchester Originals openers, Phil Salt and Ben McKinney. The senior man soaked up the pressure with his exquisite ball-striking and smart running, and his 99-run partnership with Rachin Ravindra tilted the tide back in Manchester Originals’ favor.

Shortly after Originals completed a seven-wicket routing of Northern Superchargers to record their third win of The Hundred Men 2025 season, Jos Buttler was fittingly named the ‘Player of the Match’ for his heroics.

The innings marked his third half-century of the tournament, and the eighth of his Hundred profile overall. Jos Buttler also extended his tally to 283 runs this Hundred 2025 season to find himself only behind Jordan Cox (327 runs) in terms of leading run-getters.
