Deepti Sharma knocked over England opener Tammy Beaumont for 22 in match number 20 of the 2025 ICC Women’s World Cup at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The wicket marked the 150th of Deepti’s illustrious Women’s ODI career, becoming only the tenth cricketer in the world to reach the landmark figure.

Additionally, the 28-year-old also unlocked a rare all-rounder’s milestone, previously achieved only by three cricketers in the history of the format.

In India’s uneven Women’s World Cup 2025 campaign so far, Deepti Sharma has emerged as her team’s leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 11 wickets in just five innings at an impressive bowling average of 20.45. She also clubbed a match-winning half-century in the opening match of the competition against tournament co-hosts Sri Lanka at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
