Rajasthan Royals (RR) social media team is on fire as they continue to entertain fans with comical videos. In the latest clip, they added a voiceover of the popular sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma’ to RR’s practice game, thus adding a humorous touch.

The IPL 2025 tournament will start on March 22 with RCB facing defending champions KKR in the inaugural match of Eden Gardens, Kolkata. RR will start their campaign on March 23 against SRH.

Ahead of the big game, the team played an intra-squad game to get necessary match practice. 

RR’s Social Media Team Pays Tribute To TMKOC Sitcom

In a video shared by RR’s social media team on X platform, fast bowler Tushar Deshpande was seen bowling to Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson. He cleaned up Jaiswal with a fiery delivery and erupted in a small celebration.

However, RR’s social media team added a hilarious voiceover to turn it entertaining. The comical voiceover was from the popular sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta ka Ulta Chasma’ where the show captured a cricket tournament called GPL. 

Meanwhile, the video went viral on social media and fans appreciated RR’s efforts to spread smiles through nostalgia.

RR Appoints Riyan Parag As Stand-In Captain

With days remaining for the season of IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals have named Riyan Parag as captain for their initial three matches. This move is made since regular captain Sanju Samson is still recovering from a finger injury he got while playing a recent domestic game. 

While Samson is fit to bat, he has not yet received clearance for wicketkeeping and fielding duties. Parag's leadership stint will commence with the season opener against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23. 

Subsequent fixtures include a home game against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26 and a clash with Chennai Super Kings on March 30.
