Punjab Kings (PBKS) pace sensation Arshdeep Singh is an ultimate character both on and off the field. Known for his wity nature, Arshdeep has time and again entertained his fans through videoes posted by the franchise during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

Recently, a video shared by Punjab shows the young seamer visibly delighted after being picked in India's squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. Arshdeep was heard mentioning a viral meme - "Level Sabke Niklege Par Niklenge Uske Jo Khada Rahega".

On Tuesday, BCCI ended the long wait through the announcement of the 15-member India squad for the T20 WC 2024. The Men in Blue squad consists of youngsters like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Arshdeep Singh, alongside seasoned campaigners like Virat Kohli and vice-captain Hardik Pandya.

Meanwhile, with the young left-arm seamer's selection, there have been questions raised given the PBKS seamer's current form with the ball in the ongoing IPL 2024.

He has been taking wickets but has also been conceding a lot of runs, which has been an issue for him this season. In nine matches, Arshdeep has taken 12 wickets at an economy rate of 9.64.

This economy rate was a concern, and that's why many experts didn't pick him for the World Cup. However, selectors have shown faith in the young pacer from Punjab.

Nonetheless, this is the second time that Arshdeep has been picked for the T20 World Cup, with his first appearance coming in 2022, where he was the standout Indian bowler.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to be played from June 2 to June 29, 2024, This edition stands out as it will be held across two regions, featuring matches in both the United States and the West Indies.
