Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) famed trio Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell were seen having fun during a promotion shoot for IPL 2024. The great RCB troika was seen in amazing spirits and donning a laugh as they got together off the field, too, for a brand association with 'BoAt'.

'BoAt' being one of RCB's leading sponsors for the new season, the brand roped in the franchise's three leading faces for their new advertisement, during whose shoot team captain and renowned leader Du Plessis and his two esteemed teammates were seen in their inimitable and humorous avatar.

The advertisement shoot saw modern-day legend Kohli engage in fun and games on camera with his RCB captain and fellow middle-order giant Maxwell.

The trio appeared in high spirits despite losing the opening game of IPL 2024 against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

RCB's Famed Trio Have Fun During Brand Shoot

A clip of the trio having fun and indulging in great laughs was shared by the brand on their social media feed on Sunday (March 24) and has gone viral since among fans, especially RCB fans, who would've experienced a mood-lifter seeing the three giants in light mood after the disappointment of the loss to CSK.

The bout with the Super Kings was an unsatisfactory one for each of Kohli, Du Plessis and Maxwell. While Kohli mustered just 21 off 20 deliveries before being out caught in the deep, Du Plessis also failed to convert his encouraging start of 35 from 23 balls into something substantial before Maxwell endured a rare first-ball duck.

Their failures meant that despite a valiant stand between Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Karthik, RCB posted a below-par score of 173/6 on one of the flattest Chepauk surfaces, which the hosts comfortably overhauled in the second half.
