Virat Kohli is a global icon and the former India skipper is adored everywhere. He has a cult following and is arguably the most popular celebrity figure in India. Kohli is a cricketing genius and his batting is also adored by the Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese.

Currently, India are schedule to play against Prime Minister's XI in a day-night game at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. The Prime Minister's XI is selected by Anthony Albanese to compete against the visiting team, and in this case its India.

The game was marred with rain as the toss was delayed, and before the start of the match, the Australian PM met the Indian team and had a great laugh with the visiting side. However, what caught the eyes was his interaction with star player, Kohli.

The duo engaged in a lengthy conversation which looked light-hearted as the two shared a laughter as well.

Not the first time Kohli- Anthony Albanese broke the internet

This is not the first time Virat Kohli and Albanese are meeting and having a laughter. A couple of days ago, the entire Indian side met the Australian PM, and Anthony Albanese also jokingly asked Virat not to torment them more (referring to his brilliant record against the Aussies).

Kohli also responded with a one liner, stating that you "always gotta add some spice to it."

Kohli to play at his favourite hunting ground, Adelaide Oval

Every cricketer has that one ground where he feels like home, and for Kohli, it is the Adelaide Oval. In 2011, he scored his maiden Test hundred at this venue, and then in 2014, he slammed twin centuries to almost win the match for India.

In the day-night game in 2020, he scored a gritty 70, before getting run-out. The former captain also boasts tremendous white-ball record in Adelaide, and has a century to his name attached.
