With the excitement building ahead of the upcoming edition of the IPL, Kolkata Knight Riders' flamboyant all-rounder Andre Russell added a touch of entertainment to the anticipation by vibing to popular Bollywood song 'Lutt Putt' from the movie 'Dhunki,' which is famously associated with the team's co-owner, Shah Rukh Khan.

IPL 2024 season carnival is set to commence on March 22. In light of state elections, the Phase 1 schedule was released by the BCCI a few weeks ago. 

That being said, with just days to go before the big event, several IPL teams are hosting pre-season camps to welcome the new roster and ensure that the group is in sync before the opening game.

Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders' all-rounder and powerhouse finisher, Andre Russell, is gearing up for his two-month-long India trip with KKR in some style. Earlier today, KKR released a social media post showcasing Russell vibing to the franchise co-owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's popular song. 

While driving, Andre Russell recorded himself grooving to SRK's 'Lutt Putt' song from the movie 'Dhunki' in his car. The powerful batter was in absolute sync with the bats and also sang along with his unique Caribbean accent.

Having said that, the video of Russell vibing to 'Lutt Putt' quickly went viral, generating excitement and anticipation among KKR fans ahead of the upcoming IPL season. 

Moreover, the choice of the song, which is synonymous with Shah Rukh Khan's association with KKR and his iconic presence at the team's matches, further added to the excitement surrounding Russell. 

KKR will be counting themselves as a perennial contender for this year's title with the return of Gautam Gambhir as team mentor and the addition of formidable pacer Mitchell Starc. The fans hope the millions spent on Starc will result in something extraordinary on the field.
