Virat Kohli has parted ways with German multinational corporation and sports apparel manufacture company PUMA. Back in 2017, the legendary Indian batter entered an endorsement agreement with PUMA that was estimated to be worth Rs. 110 crores. The former Indian captain will now be joining Agilitas as an investor, in a bid to expand his own One8 brand into becoming a global sportswear identity.

It is worth noting that Virat Kohli is currently representing the RCB franchise for the IPL 2025 season in India.

Virat Kohli joins Agilitas after ending PUMA deal

Virat Kohli’s lucrative eight-year endorsement agreement with PUMA has come to an end. The legendary Indian cricketer will now support Agilitas in a bid to take his One8 brand as an independent sports brand from India to the world.

Agilitas was founded back in 2023 by former Puma India and South-East Asia managing director Abhishek Ganguly. The company focuses on manufacturing and selling sportswear goods in India as well as in overseas markets.

Virat Kohli is currently representing the RCB franchise in the ongoing IPL 2025 season. The legendary Indian batter has aggregated 164 runs from four innings so far at an average of 54.67. Kohli has plundered match-winning half-centuries in the process, against KKR in the tournament opener and against Mumbai Indians earlier this week.

The RCB is ranked third on the IPL 2025 points table at the moment by securing three wins from four matches. The Virat Kohli-starrer franchise will now go up against the Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. A win for the RCB at this stage of the competition will elevate them among the top two sides on the 10-team standings.
