Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are facing each other in the 24th match of IPL 2025 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 10. DC captain Axar Patel won the toss and decided to bowl first.
During the toss, he also announced some team changes. Faf du Plessis has returned to the playing XI, while Sameer Rizvi has been left out of the match.
Why Is Sameer Rizvi Not Playing?
The reason behind Sameer Rizvi’s absence hasn’t been officially shared. But it’s believed that Faf du Plessis, who missed the last match due to a minor injury, is now fully fit and ready to play.
In the previous match, Jake Fraser-McGurk opened the innings with KL Rahul, and Sameer Rizvi batted at number 5. But now, the captain has confirmed that Faf will open the innings, and KL Rahul will move down the order to bat in the middle.
