In an interesting conversation with Grade Cricketer podcast hosts, Australian opener Travis Head deemed Indian captain Rohit Sharma as the hottest Indian player. He admired Rohit’s cricketing ethics as well as physical attractiveness while also stating that Jasprit Bumrah needs to work on his looks.

Australia will celebrate the one-year anniversary of their famous 2023 ICC ODI World Cup title victory on November 19. Days leading up to the anniversary, Grade Cricketers podcasters conducted a one-on-one interview with several world cup winning players to get their perspective on the title victory and also on the rivalry against India.

With the Border-Gavaskar Series also approaching, the timing is just about right to unearth the special cricketing connection between India and Australia.

Travis Head rates Rohit Sharma's physical attributes highly

Meanwhile, a special guest on the podcast was Travis Head, who scored 137 on the eve of the finals to single-handedly dominate the Indians in their backyard.

While talking about Jasprit Bumrah, Head bluntly said that the pacer is not good looking and needs some work to do on his physical attributes. The interviewer then asked Travis Head to name the hottest Indian player to which Head answered Rohit Sharma without a second thought.

The Aussie opener explained that Rohit’s style and setup as an opener is admirable. He also finds Rohit’s effortless shots attractive and added that physical attributes and cricketing skills both combined makes him a hot player.

Travis Head, meanwhile, is included in Australia’s 13-member squad for the first Test against India scheduled at Perth. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma is set to skip the series opener due to personal commitments.

Rohit Sharma hits nets amid suspense on Perth Test availability

Rohit Sharma is more or less confirmed to skip the Perth Test against Australia as he stayed back in India while the rest of the squad landed in Australia last week. However, Rohit is likely to rejoin the team for the second Test as he was spotted practising with red ball in Mumbai. The skipper is expecting a child with wife Ritika and chose to stay by his family to embrace parenthood for the second time.
