Rishabh Pant Wishes A ‘Blessed Ganesh Chaturthi’ To Fans
On Wednesday, August 27, i.e., on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi, Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant took to his social media account to extend his wishes for fellow devotees of the festival, spreading festive cheer and positivity among his followers.
In the caption, the dynamic wicketkeeper-batter wrote:
“Ganpati Bappa Morya. Wishing everyone a happy and blessed Ganesh Chaturthi.”
Rishabh Pant is currently in the rehabilitation process after the nasty foot injury he suffered in the Manchester Test last month. While attempting an audacious reverse shot off Chris Woakes, the cricketer was hit on his foot by the England fast bowler. The impact caused Pant to bleed and writhe in pain as he was escorted off the field by the Indian support staff.
Nonetheless, Rishabh Pant has been advised rest in a bid to attain full recovery before returning to the Indian cricket team. The 27-year-old, nearing 28, was even dropped from the Indian team for the upcoming 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup in the UAE by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Pant is also on course to miss India’s two-match Test series against West Indies at home later this year in October.
