RCB Invites International DJ Alan Walker For Special 'UnBox' Event Before IPL 2024

The famed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise has invited famous musician Alan Walker for its special #RCBUnbox event to be organised before the start of their IPL 2024 campaign. 

The Bangalore franchise will be hosting a packed crowd filled with its passionate fans at its home ground, the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, and have international DJ and music producer Walker gracing the occasion as the excitement builds up ahead of the league's 17th edition, starting March 22. 

The #RCBUnbox event will be held three days earlier on March 19, with the Faf du Plessis-led side also promising a "special surprise" for its humongous fanbase. RCB will kickstart their campaign for the marquee T20 carnival on the opening day against defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK). 


RCB Invites Alan Walker For Special Pre-IPL Event 

The wealthy franchise also announced the ticket bookings opened for the #RCBUnbox event, which had stands across the Chinnaswamy Stadium filled when former skipper Virat Kohli was joined by fellow RCB legends Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers last summer as the IPL returned to its full-fledged home and away format. 

On the field, however, it was another year of disappointment for the popular franchise as it failed to secure a playoffs spot and finished sixth in the IPL 2023 standings with just seven wins out of 14 league games. 

Du Plessis' men had entered the tournament's 16th iteration with high hopes after reaching the business end of the competition in three previous years. But their dream of bagging the elusive title couldn't be fulfilled. 

RCB now strive to rejuvenate their fortunes by making one collective push towards the prestigious IPL trophy, facing the mighty Super Kings in their very first game in Chennai.
