The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the first phase of schedule for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season.
The decision to release the schedule in separate phases was made owing to the coinciding Lok Sabha Elections in India.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise, led by Faf du Plessis, will launch their campaign in the tournament opener with an away game against defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
RCB IPL Schedule 2024 Phase 1
The RCB franchise will commence its IPL 2024 campaign with a match against defending champions CSK on March 22. The much-awaited contest will be staged at the iconic M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
As per the first phase of the IPL 2024 schedule issued by the BCCI, the RCB franchise is slated to play four matches until April 7.
