The Indian Women’s team attended the residence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, November 5 for a World Cup felicitation ceremony. While PM Modi congratulated the players and the support staff during their interactive conversation, the entire team was also greeted with a celebratory lunch at the residence.
Injured Pratika Rawal, who was in her wheelchair, seemingly struggled to take food on her own, prompting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to step forward and personally serve her. The heartwarming gesture reflected the Prime Minister’s humility and genuine care for the players, adding an emotional touch to the occasion.
