Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha hosted Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur at their residence. The intimate get-together quickly grabbed attention after Parineeti shared pictures from the evening.

Hamanpreet recently won the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 as India’s captain and has been honoured on various platforms since then.

She appeared on the Kaun Banega Crorepati show, featured on the cover of popular magazines and also won awards and cash prizes.

Meanwhile, power couple Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha recently invited Harmanpreet Kaur to their residence for a special night. In photos shared on social media, Parineeti and Raghav are seen posing alongside Harmanpreet, all smiles. 

Clearly moved by the visit, Parineeti penned a heartfelt note praising the cricketer not just for her achievements, but also for her grounded nature.

“Pleasure having you over at our place, champion. Your achievements, simplicity and humility inspire millions. Keep the Tricolour flying high,” she wrote, along with white heart emojis.

Another picture showed Harmanpreet sitting comfortably with the couple in their living room. The images quickly resonated online, with fans applauding the mutual respect between cinema, politics and sport.

India to play Sri Lanka next

Fresh from their historic World Cup win, the Indian women’s cricket team will host Sri Lanka in a five-match T20I series starting December 22, 2025. 

The first two matches will be played at Visakhapatnam, followed by three games in Thiruvananthapuram. 

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma headline the squad, while youngsters G Kamalini and Vaishnavi Sharma earn maiden call-ups. The series serves as key preparation for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
