Bollywood actress and internet personality Khushi Mukherjee has finally addressed the controversy surrounding her viral remarks about Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav. She put an end to days of speculation, saying she shared no romantic relationship with SKY.

The controversy began after she said Suryakumar used to message her a lot in the past. But she is not interested in dating any cricketers.

The comments quickly triggered a wildfire, with fans questioning Suryakumar’s character and loyalty towards his wife, Devisha.

However, after the issue caught attention, Khushi Mukherjee backtracked from her comment. In her clarification with NDTV, she asked, “Can’t we talk as friends?”

This was to assert that her interaction with Suryakumar Yadav was purely friendly and casual. Mukherjee explained that her statement was taken out of context and misunderstood by many.

Khushi also revealed that her Instagram account had been hacked. According to her, she has not spoken to Suryakumar for a long time and has had no contact with him even after the controversy erupted. 

Khushi Mukherjee stressed that there was no romantic involvement at any point and that the issue had been unnecessarily blown out of proportion.

Interestingly, the controversy surfaced around the same time Suryakumar Yadav was visiting the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati along with his wife, Devisha. The Indian captain has chosen not to respond publicly to the matter.

Who is Khushi Mukherjee?

To make things clearer, Khushi Mukherjee is an Indian actress and model who has been associated with the film industry for over a decade. Her debut in acting came in the Tamil film ‘Anjal Thurai’ in the year 2013, followed by Telugu films like ‘Heart Attack’ and ‘Donga Prema’.

Khushi gained popularity from reality shows such as “Splitsvilla 10” and “Love School 3.”

She has also acted in several TV series including ‘Baalveer Returns’ and ‘Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram,’ apart from being admired for her fashion sense and social media popularity.
