West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell has expressed his wish to act in a Shah Rukh Khan movie if given a chance in the future. On a podcast, Russell stated that SRK’s physique and stunts have really impressed him.

KKR expanded its operations from IPL to various franchise leagues around the world. They own a team in ILT20 (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders), CPL (Trinbago Knight Riders), and MLC (LA Knight Riders).

Andre Russell is drafted in all KKR-owned teams as their key all-rounder. His connection with the franchise also brought him closer to co-owner Shah Rukh Khan.

In the latest chat with the ‘Our Stupid Podcast,’ Russell revealed that he is a big fan of SRK and his movies, and if given a chance, he would love to act with him in the future.

"I've watched a few Shah Rukh Khan movies obviously because you know he's the owner for the team that I played for so many years. He's a great action movie guy like Tom Cruise. All these type of guys.  I would be close to him and see how rippy he is. I'm like okay he's not  doing a stunt double. I would definitely love to you know play a role with him in a movie sometimes," Russell said.

Amid speculation over Andre Russell's IPL future, KKR spinner Varun Chakravarthy has offered a massive update. Chakravarthy revealed that Russell isn’t planning to retire anytime soon.

“He wants to play another two or three IPL cycles, that's easily six more years. He’s fit and contributing,” said Varun.

Russell, 37, recently silenced critics with a blazing 57 off 25 balls in latter stage of IPL 2025 season, proving he still has what it takes. For now, it looks like the KKR powerhouse is far from done with IPL cricket.
