Rishabh Pant is arguably the most entertaining character in the Indian cricket team and the maverick keeper never shies away from expressing his emotions on the field. The Indian batter is fun-loving and always gets involved in banters with opposition players as everyone adores him.

Pant's epic one-liner goes viral

The Indian star is also known for his epic stump mic moments, which often go viral during the game. One such incident occurred during the 4th day of the Headingley Test between India and England. Pant walked out to bat after the dismissal of Shubman Gill as the skipper was sent back cheaply by Brydon Carse.

The left-handed batter started the innings with his usual stepping down the track heave, however, consistent lines and lengths troubled the keeper-batter as he slowed down a bit. As a result, Pant had to give respect to the English bowlers which frustrated him a bit. He missed quite a few deliveries and this is when his epic one-liner came out and was picked by the stump mic.

Here's what Pant said during the game

"Ye Vaali ball tameez se khelne ke chakkar me chuth rahi hai," Pant said as the epic one-liner was picked up by stump mic.

The English pacers trapped him as they didn't allow Pant to free his arms and hence, the batter had to give some respect to the bowlers.

Pant's funny banter with Stokes on Day 3

Pant's "babysitting" moment garnered tremendous love during the 2018-19 Australian tour. He is known for his funny banters as it allow the Indian star to get under the skin of the opponent.

On Day 3 of the Test match against England, Pant teased Ben Stokes for his cautious approach. The England captain was playing a slow knock as the keeper-batter urged him to play sensibly. This frustrated the England batter as he was dismissed in the next few deliveries and the plan worked for India.
