Islamabad United all-rounder, Imad Wasim showcased nerves of steel as he guided his team to a thrilling victory in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 eliminator against Peshawar Zalmi this past Saturday in Karachi.

Facing a daunting situation at 21-3 in 3.3 overs and required 165 runs on 99 balls, Imad, alongside Martin Guptill and Azam Khan, constructed vital partnerships to stabilize the run-chase.

At one stage, Islamabad needed 95 runs off 54 balls with five wickets down. Then, Imad Wasim showcased his experience and maturity as a senior player by building a match-winning partnership of 98 runs in 49 balls with Haider Ali. 

This guided his team into the finals of PSL 2024, where they will now meet Multan Sultans on Monday.
