Fact check: Did Virat Kohli really pose with MS Dhoni's RX100 bike that broke the internet?

While a picture of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli has gone viral after the former hosted a dinner party at home for the Indian cricket team, another image has lately been collecting buzz with Dhoni and Kohli posing with a bike along with an unidentified person in the image.

While the image has gained over 2 million likes on Instagram on the social media handle of the person, whose social media handle reads @unseenfriend, it raises suspicion. Let's take a deep dive to fact-check whether the image of MS Dhoni and Kohli is fake or real.

The Instagram account that released the picture of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli posing with an RX100 bike is notoriously known for posting celebrity pictures while morphing himself into them using Photoshop or AI methods.

The account named unseenfriend posted three pictures of him chatting and hanging out with Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni in the background of CSK veteran's alleged farmhouse and garage.

However, shockingly, none of these images are real, as the 247K-follower Instagram account regularly posts AI-morphed pictures of himself with popular celebrities like Bollywood actresses Shraddha Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and actor Kartik Aaryan.

The post was written with a sarcastic comment, "last night with the boyzz," and netizens were witty enough to reply, "I don’t care if it's AI but I saw Dhoni dropping Kohli photo. These 2 legends shaped my childhood."

Another user wrote, "AI HAI AI." Though the post was made using artificial intelligence, the pictures broke the internet with 98.9K shares and over 2.5K comments.

Nevertheless, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rishabh Pant were also spotted alongside Rohit Sharma in MS Dhoni's house at the dinner before the IND vs SA ODI series is set to commence. The first match of the series is slated for November 30, 2025.
