Yashasvi Jaiswal Takes Massive Jump In ICC Test Rankings After Destroying England

The young Indian sensation, Yashasvi Jaiswal rose through the ICC rankings after his magnificent double-century in the third Test of the ongoing series against England. With his 214-run unbeaten knock, Jaiswal moves 14 places upwards and secures the 15th position in the updated Men's ICC Batting Rankings in Test cricket. 

Despite losing the first Test of the series, team India made a remarkable comeback, winning the next two games and Yashasvi Jaiswal turned out to be the key contributor in both of the wins. With his stellar knocks of 209 runs in the second Test and 214 runs in the third Test, he helped India pick a lead by 2-1 in the five-match Test series. 

The last week was full of impeccable performances whether from the Indian team or the England team, which has caused a stir in the ICC rankings.

The young left-hander had an amazing start to his Test career with a daddy hundred on debut against West Indies. 

 Yashasvi Jaiswal has already hammered three centuries in just seven games, two of them being the double hundreds. With his range of shots, he keeps the bowler on his side and plays with freedom.

With an average of over 71 and three daddy hundreds under his name, Yashasvi Jaiswal has been one of a kind for the Indian team and has already amassed over 850 runs. He continues to rise through the ranks and has reached the 15th spot after his consecutive double centuries. 

The Indian duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin also caused a stir in the rankings. Jadeja's amazing 112-run knock has lifted him from 41st rank to 34th in batting rankings and also maintains his top rank in the Allrounders department. 

Ashwin, who reached the milestone of 500 Test wickets has also lifted himself to the second rank right after Jasprit Bumrah.
