India's new batting sensation, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has broken multiple records in recent times. He has equalled the record of most double centuries in a single Test series with two games to go in the ongoing series against England.

Ahead of the fourth Test, he has many records that he can break with four innings still to go. One such record is fifty years old, held by the legendary Sunil Gavaskar.

In the ongoing series, Jaiswal has scored a staggering 545 runs in three Test matches with two double-hundreds. The player, who has recorded an astonishing average of 109, has remained unbeaten on one occasion.

In the rich vein of form the left-handed batsman is in, he is looking to break the 53-year-old record of Sunil Gavaskar.

In 1971, against the West Indies, Gavaskar had scored 774 runs. Jaiswal needs only 229 runs from four innings to record the most runs in a bilateral Test series.

The second-most runs in a single Test series are scored by Virat Kohli, who amassed 692 runs against Australia in 2014-15. Thus, to break Kohli's record, Jaiswal needs only 147 runs.

India continue to have a fragile middle order despite Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel's heroics in the third Test

Ahead of the fourth Test, the Indian team has got a massive boost as KL Rahul will be back in the Whites for the national team. He is expected to slot in for Rajat Patidar, who has failed to live up to the hype.
