The Australian cricket team players were seen arriving in Thiruvananthapuram a day prior to their imminent World Cup 2023 warm-up fixture against Netherlands. Earlier this week, they travelled from Mohali to Indore to Rajkot for their three-match ODI series against tournament hosts India to conclude their final set of pre-World Cup 2023 preparations.

Senior members Steve Smith, David Warner and captain Pat Cummins were all seen stepping out from the airport premises and getting into their team bus.

Australian team, set to be led by Pat Cummins, have landed in Thiruvananthapuram just in time for their first World Cup 2023 warm-up fixture. Several of Australia’s World Cup bound players, including David Warner, Steve Smith, Marcus Stoinis and captain Cummins himself were seen exiting the airport and getting into their team bus.

The Australian cricket team will be facing Netherlands at the iconic Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on September 30. They will subsequently travel to Hyderabad to face Pakistan at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on October 3 to conclude their final set of pre-World Cup 2023 preparations.

The five-time winners, chasing their sixth title, will go up against hosts and prominent white-ball rivals India to launch their tournament campaign on October 8. Their much-awaited bout will be hosted by Chennai’s M. A. Chidambaram Stadium. Ahead of Australia’s World Cup 2023 crusade, here is a look at their entire 15-player squad for the tournament.
