[Watch] Unexpected Old Friend Bumps Into Indian Squad In Flight

Dinesh Karthik is set to assume his commentary role at the forthcoming 2023 World Cup in India. The cricketer was recently spotted travelling to Guwahati for Team India’s first warm-up fixture against England, set to be played on September 30.

While on the flight, the cricketer-cum-commentator bumped into Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur, two of India’s World Cup 2023 bound stars also headed to the city.


Dinesh Karthik catches up with Pandya, Thakur

Dinesh Karthik recently took flight for Guwahati for India’s upcoming World Cup 2023 warm-up affair against defending champions England. He took to his Instagram account to brief his fans about his travel updates, and shared pictures of himself alongside fellow travelers and Team India all-round stars Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur.

Karthik wrote in the caption that just when he was wondering how he would be spending his time on his three-hour flight, he ended up meeting the two World Cup 2023 bound Indian cricketers.

Both Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur recently starred in team’s Asia Cup 2023 triumphant run in Sri Lanka. While Thakur also played India’s subsequent three-match ODI series against Australia at home, Pandya opted himself out of from the squad to give himself a much-needed breather prior to the cricketing carnival.

Earlier this month, the two all-rounders found their names among India’s 15-player World Cup 2023 line-up, set to be led by all-format captain Rohit Sharma. Ahead of their first warm-up fixture, here is a look at their entire squad for the tournament:
