Virat Kohli shared a warm hug with Shikhar Dhawan during IPL 2024 in a touching display of friendship and solidarity. The embrace came at a poignant moment, as Dhawan has been going through a personal family crisis off the field.

PBKS clashed with RCB last night in a thrilling IPL 2024 season game at Chinnaswamy. After the home side registered a thumping four-wicket win, Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan were seen embracing a heartwarming moment post-match.

Virat and Shikhar have known each other since their junior years playing for Delhi. Over the years, both represented India on the international stage and achieved numerous milestones.

However, Dhawan's personal life has been tumultuous for the past few years. He got divorced, and his ex-wife Ayesha attained custody of their son Zoravar.

Amid a grave personal crisis, Shikhar Dhawan turned up for IPL 2024 to lead PBKS and met his old pal Virat Kohli post-match for a chat. As soon as Kohli saw Dhawan approaching, he hugged him and tapped on his back while dropping consoling words into his ears. 

Kohli further wrapped his arm around Shikhar's shoulders as the duo engaged in a serious conversation before breaking into laughter moments later.
